Corinne Smith

Ballroom Dance Teacher

Corinne Smith was born and raised in Chicagoland area where she began her dancing journey at the age of 8 with her brother Joshua. As a teenager her love of ballroom dancing brought her to the competitive floor, leading her to compete in all four styles. On the competitive circuit she accomplished many high placements as well as earning 3 amateur titles at USDC in Rhythm, Latin, and 10-Dance.

After graduating from Dominican University in 2013 with a Bachelors degree in Performance: Dance she began teaching and moved to Atlanta to pursue her dance dream. In Atlanta she continued her training while sharing her passion for dance working for the non profit organization JV Outreach. This organization gave her the opportunity to bring Ballroom dancing to Middle School kids in the Atlanta area. As much as she loved Atlanta a job opportunity brought her to Columbus, Ohio in 2016 where she started competing professionally in American Smooth.

As a teacher for 7 years she believes you should never stop learning, and she hopes that you fall in love with dancing just like she did. It’s never too late to start dancing!

Stacy Toki & Aleko Khutsidze

Stacy Toki

Vice President, Human Resources

Stacy Toki was born and raised in a small town near the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She developed a love of exercise of all kinds at an early age. You would often find her dancing along to Soul Train playing on the giant console TV and working out to her mom’s aerobics VHS tapes (legwarmers and all). No doubt this homegrown training regimen helped her make the cheerleading squad in high school. She also became a distance runner in her teens and ran her first (and only) marathon at age 16. Fitness for Stacy now consists of strength training, long walks with her sweet dog, and the occasional LaBlast Fitness class facilitated by the one and only Katy Tombaugh.

Stacy moved to Columbus in 1997 for a change of scenery. Best move she ever made because that is where she met and married her husband of 21 years, Darin Toki, and got to become stepmom to his amazing children! The good fortune continues with the addition of two adorable grandsons!

Stacy is the Vice President of Human Resources for BMI Federal Credit Union, an award-winning not-for-profit financial institution, committed to improving the financial lives of its Members and the community.

Stacy’s community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors for Apprisen and as Chairwoman of the Board for Employers Resource Association (ERA).

Stacy earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and her MBA from Franklin University. She also has a Senior Certified HR Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from the Society for Human Resources Management as well as a Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE) certification from the Credit Union National Association.

Aleko Khutsidze

Aleko Khutsidze is from The Republic of Georgia, the city of Kutaissi. An Eastern European country also known as the crossroads between Europe and Asia.

Aleko began his dance career in folk dance for his homeland at the age of five. Kartuli dance  encompasses the rich culture, traditions, and history of Georgia, displaying the women’s grace, eloquence and beauty and the men’s acrobatics, strength, speed, and passion.

From 1995-2001 Aleko trained and traveled internationally with his professional Kartuli dance company.  They competed in and won many European and American folkloric dance competitions!

2001 saw Aleko immigrating to the USA as a young man and pursuing his current style of dance: international Latin. He trained locally under the professional couple Svetlana and Igor Iskhakov on the East side of Columbus.

From 2005-2012 Aleko competed professionally in International Latin with his partner Svetlana Iskhakov.  He retired from professional competition in 2013 to teach full time and help his students pursue their dance dreams. He works with all levels of amateur dancers from novice to advanced. His students maintain a consistent presence in area and national competitions throughout the year. And he still finds time to help the non-competitor who is looking for confidence in the social dance scene or choreographing a first dance for their wedding.

Aleko finds great satisfaction in helping his students succeed, whatever their goals.  Likewise, he enjoys using his talents to benefit the wider community.

When he is not dancing, you can find him with his wife Abby, and their 3 children: Luka, Lily, and Luna, or working on his golf game and following local sports teams.

Since moving to the United States to further pursue her dance career, Maura has expanded her repertoire to now include American Smooth and Rhythm in addition to the International Ballroom and Latin styles. The dance floor is my real home, a space where I can be free to be whatever I want to be.”

Damon Dillard

Founder of TDT Financial™

Damon Dillard is first and foremost a believer. He is a husband, a father, a friend, business strategist, and life coach. He lives by the adage, “How you do ANYTHING is HOW you do EVERYTHING.” It references the very principles that assisted him along his journey to fulfillment, success, and the basis of his business and life coaching to date. Originally born in Cleveland, Ohio, he and his mother moved to Columbus when he was very young. As a graduate from Westerville South, he had the hobby of playing basketball. As many other young men around his age, he had “NBA Hoop Dreams” however, recognized early on, his talent was around speaking and business.

Growing up, he was raised in a single parent household where his mother would work two to three jobs at a time in order to care for his two younger sisters and himself. Although they had a roof over their head and the “necessities,” he always desired to care for his mother so that SHE would not have to work as hard.

After attending Capital University where he studied Financial Economics and Marketing, he was left to make a decision that would change his life forever. Having experienced success not only in the secular world, but also with the game he loved, he needed to make a hard decision about his future. He had to choose whether to pursue his DREAM to play basketball professionally OR pursue the DREAM and DESIRE to not only RETIRE and take care of his mother, but also provide the lifestyle that his newly established family, wife, and children truly deserved.

Damon states, “The quality of your life will always be in direct proportion to the QUALITY of the QUESTIONS you ask.” What questions are you asking?

Damon has four main questions he asked himself (We encourage you to ask the same):

“What am I good at?”

“What do I love?”

“What does the WORLD NEED?”

“How do I monetize this?”

Once he discovered the Life Insurance Industry, the answer to all of these questions became clear. It assisted him with the ability to FINANCIALLY SECURE his FAMILIES future, but also assist so many in doing the exact same. His OBSESSION is not only in assisting people REDISCOVERING their GIFTS, but helping them uncover the dream that they have had bottled up . He has created an opportunity that, and we quote, “gives them an unrecognizable life within 12-18 months.”

“I remember where I was four years ago mentally, emotionally, physically, and financially. I have committed my life to showing and providing people the TRUTH about HOW they can TRULY change their lives. Partnership with The Dream Team provides a platform for that purpose. I look forward to assisting you in the MANIFESTATION of YOUR DREAM!”
